Here’s the lesser of two evils, Nicky Hilton, at Barney’s the other day. The bag-like dress hanging off her twiggy frame isn’t really doing it for me, but I’m just happy I’m not looking at Paris. I sometimes forget about Nicky. I imagine it must get cold and lonely in the shadow of Paris’ overwhelming sluttery and skankeration.

Apparently Nicky is a fashion designer now - which seems to be the chosen profession of useless, spoiled rich girls (Lauren Conrad and Heidi Montag, I’m looking in your direction). I hope this bag-dress-fedora combination isn’t walking down her runway, but I do like the Steve Madden sandals on her feet. Nicky’s wearing the Steven by Steve Madden “Banglez” gladiator sandal. These sandals feature trendy stud details, similar to the popular Balenciaga studded gladiators - but for far less bucks.

Lindsay Lohan was out the other night with her younger sister, Ali. I’m happy to see that Lindsay’s wearing a dress, as oppose to just a shirt. I actually don’t mind what she’s wearing. The furry/shiny jacket is kind of fugly, and I don’t care for the material of the dress, but I’m just happy her ass isn’t showing.

Here’s Madonna at the Berlin Film Festival, where she debuted Filth and Wisdom, a short film she directed. You wanna know what? The movie apparently isn’t horrible. I’m glad Madonna has finally figured out that she’s more use to us behind the camera than in front of it. The only time I want to see Madonna in front of the camera is if she’s singing and dancing on a gondola, kissing black saints, or wearing cone bras. She’s a smart lady, blessed with a keen business sense, but God knows that I can’t sit through another movie like Swept Away or Body of Evidence or The Next Best Thing, because the next best thing would be someone WHO CAN ACT.

I had mentioned in a previous post with Ali Larter how grays and silvers are the hottest colors that have emerged during the winter. I also mentioned the possibility that the trend may maintain momentum well into the spring/summer season. Katherine Heigl is the ultimate example of how trendy grays and silvers are, evident by this photo courtesy of Instyle. Heigl is seen pictured at the premiere of her upcoming movie, 27 Dresses. Some people believe that gray is a boring and dull color, however Heigl has confidently shown that she is the exception to the rule.
