Here is what I know about Heidi Montag: I know she’s from some alternate Hollywood reality show universe, where women whom indulge in plastic surgeries are called feminist heroes; she’s dating some dude named Spencer Pratt, who looks like the King of the Douches; she falsely believes she has musical talent; she’s in the fashion industry, like so many other useless reality show tarts who think they have talent.

In case you weren’t aware, last night was a little something called the Academy Awards. I’m not a huge fan of the Oscars - I prefer to read next day blog reports, as oppose to actually sitting through the eighteen hour telecast snoozefest. The Oscars are a dull time for shoes. It’s all about the dresses. “Who’s dress are you wearing?!” said in my best Joan Rivers impression. It’s all about beautiful and elaborate evening gowns - evening gowns that cover up what our lovely ladies of the Oscars are wearing on their feet. Though some designs are a bit over the top, I have to commend Betsey Johnson for being all about the details. Every Betsey Johnson shoe that I have tried on has been presented like an intricate piece of art. This collection not only has a huge variety of unique designs and distinct personality, but also carries a high degree craftsmanship.
With all this talk about Pageant girls gone wrong, it’s time to focus on pageant fashion. Miss Puerto Rico has been in the news for gaining international pity for having pepper spray planted in her gown and makeup, despite the fact that no substances related to pepper spray have been found from actual testing. There’s also the “Who’s Crown is it, Anyway?” Miss California scandal: due to an “error” which resulted in the crown being given to the wrong girl. Who could also forget Miss USA’s drug scandal and Miss Teen USA’s underage drinking issue?
