Not usually a fan of Irregular Choice myself, but these are pretty cute! What can I say...I'm a sucker for hearts and big bow ribbons.

Fans of Irregular Choice shoes are sure to love in the brand's latest collaboration, which harnesses the fertile design minds of students at the London College of Fashion. The young entrants were mentored throughout the process by Irregular Choice's designer Danny Sullivan, and winning designs were chosen from students So-Yeon Sarah Ahn and Rosanna Gault. Both winners will now have their shoes put into production, and have additionally secured much-needed funding for future students through Irregular Choice's generosity.

Ladies, I just learned of United Nude's second collaboration with Iris van Herpen for the label's Spring Summer 2011 ‘Crystallization’ Collection. And I've got to admit, I'm intrigued by the woven design of these ankle booties.

After the shoes appeared in Vogue with a Mario Testino created shoot starring Lara Stone and hit the streets on the feet of celebrities Kim Kardashian, Solange Knowles and Louise Rowe, the two companies realized there needed to be a follow-up to this successful collaboration.

The Spring Summer 2011 Iris van Herpen x United Nude collection will come in 2 versions of a sculptural high-heeled platform ankle bootie: the first, a complex weave of leather lace detailing; the second, elegantly draped with thin chains. The intricacy and precision of these creations require them to be 100% hand crafted. The 100 limited edition pairs will retail at $995 and will be available in Black, Off White and Tan.

Alejandro Ingelmo was inspired by art, architecture and iconic influences for his Fall Winter 2011/2012 footwear collection. According to FN, Bulgarian-born Gio Metodiev designs shoes that are "enticing, provocative and powerful." Made in Italy and featuring contrasting textures and asymmetrical lines, these shoes and boots will captivate all audiences. I can easily see how they could make their way into an action movie starring Angelina Jolie, whose bad-ass attitude would perfectly complement the brand.

Gio Metodiev worked for numerous fashion houses including Chanel and Dolce Gabbana, but has no formal shoemaking training. Still, I'd say his designs are ones to watch and covet!

Among the designs are a sword-inspired heel, armor-like leather layering, and a "Lady Gaga boot" featuring silver mirrored leather and knee-protecting armor.

Nine West is one of my favorite shoe brands because the shoes and accessories are affordable, well-made, and there are so many different styles that are current with the trends from which to choose.

This week in Footwear News, Nine West has announced a launch of capsule collections (dubbed "Shoelaborations") in 2011 to tap emerging fashion designers. Sophie Theallet and Giles Deacon are designing the first two. Fred Allard, Nine West's creative director, called Theallet's designs "fresh and feminine" and Deason's style "futuristic, modern and exciting." Pictured here is a first look at Sophie Theallet for Nine West. Theallet designed her own stripe print, which is featured on a ballet flat, a raffia wedge and a double platform sandal. She also designed straw bags with Parisian style infused into them.

Theallet's line will be available in stores May 1, and the footwear will retail from $79 to $109.

Looks like we can expect to see many fresh new designs emerge from Nine West on the next year!

Rachel Zoe is in New York one last time before returning to Los Angeles for the birth of her first baby. Her contemporary line, which is the result of a deal with Li Fung, will retail from $250 to $700 and will include everything from shoes to outerwear. According to Fashionologie.com, we can expect fabulous footwear, including suede boots and matte croc pumps with super-high heels and platforms, riding boots, and flats. The line will be available in targeted specialty stores and higher-end department stores.

And while it's hard to tell, Rachel Zoe is now 7 months preggers, and she just released the information that it's a boy! I'm betting she'll try to have one more child (a girl) so that she has someone to dress up. I mean come on, she's the ultimate girly-girl...she needs a partner in crime to shop with!

Ivanka Trump has a spectacular shoe closet -- rows of Stuart Weitzman and Jimmy Choo -- but these days she's not taking them to parties.

Trump, 29 is wearing her own namesake line that launches in 300 stores across the US this Friday.

"My time of en dorsing other shoe companies is over," she said, noting in true Trump style that her designs are "ev erything I love and want to wear."

The shoe launch is the result of a licensing deal with Marc Fisher Foot wear. She's excited about the shoe line, which will fea ture a wide range of 140 styles -- including pumps in leopard skin, evening shoes inspired by her jewelry (but with fake diamonds) and even a casual collection with jellies and sneakers priced from $50 to $120. Pumps start at $120.

The shoes will be in Nordstrom, Macy's, Lord Taylor and all major department stores, as well as online retailers. -Julie Earle-Levine

Nicole Richie will be expanding her fashion line to include footwear. The actress has signed a deal with Modern Vintage and Earnest Sewn Jeans designers, Rick and Brian Cytrynbaum. It's thought she'll design 20 shoes, as well as bags, sunglasses and belts.
'She's totally devoted to this, and we're creating a whole lifestyle around her aesthetic and what is true to her,' Rick tells People Magazine. '[She is] by far one of America's biggest fashion icons right now. We're investing millions into this brand. This is like nothing out there right now.'
The new shoe line will hit stores in 2010 under her boho-chic jewelery label House Of Harlow, which is named after her 15-month-old daughter. And with a new baby on the way, she's going to have her hands full!
I'm envisioning bejeweled platform heels, gladiator sandals and wedges made of natural materials...what do you think Nicole's new shoe line will look like?
