At least she knows that she will not be hit by any cars, seeing as the driver could see her shoes from about three miles away. If this shoe looks familiar to you, it's because it is another version of the Giambattista Valli "Victoria" shoe. I much prefer MK Olsen's black suede version. I know neon is kind of Rihanna's thing, but it's seriously unflattering. One of the things I liked about MK's shoes was that they didn't look clunky, despite the size of the shoe. Rihanna's neon accented shoes look clunky, loud and possibly contaminated by radioactive waste. It's possible to use neon in tasteful ways. Vans has a shoe called "No Skool" that comes in a variety of neon colours: The Vans running shoe is very simple and reserved, so adding the bright neon is actually a nice touch. Heels are a bit too classy for neon, I think. You run the risk of looking like a late eighties hooker. What do you think of this neon trend? Does anyone think it can work on heels?
