I'm not a high-heel person, so I like this one over "Nevin" style. What I gonna wear with it? Short skirt for sure.
Posted by pattisasso 4 months, 2 weeks ago
I LOVE Malory! I'd wear with a skirt and a pair of really cool tights! Or tuck in a pair of my favorite skinny jeans for a more casual look. LOVE the versatility of this boot!
Posted by sferin 4 months, 2 weeks ago
I'm tall as it is, and while I don't mind hiking it up a bit, I like the 1-inch better. I'm not a huge fan of wedges (unless you pair it with just EXACTLY the right outfit). A covered wedge is the perfect way to get the look of a flat boot with the legginess of wearing a heel or wedge! I'd wear these boots with a long-sleeved, slightly-above-the-knee length dress in a fun fall color, with a scarf to match the boot. Contrasting tights will pull the outfit together for a fantastic look!

i prefer this boot over the other because it looks more comfortable. it's a very nice boot, i would love to win it!

I prefer this boot over the other because I'm not really a heel person, although I should be becuase I'm short but I'm also clumsy. I'd wear these boots with a nice pair of jeans and a sweater.

I like the color of this shoes. They are very comfy looking that's why I want to win.thanks

I need a flat boot for traversing the cobblestones of Boston in the Winter... I would wear this with some cute leggings.. and a long top. Add some vintage jewelry and a purse that has flare and your ready for a late night on the town or an intense shopping excursion.
Posted by mhood 4 months, 2 weeks ago
I am going with the flat boots because I am already 5'11" and tower over everyone so I try to not be taller then I already am. The otehr reasons I choose these boots is because they look very comfy. I would wear my denim jeans with these matched with a shirt that that had some fall colors with a scraf.

I love these boots because I am a clutz, cannot walk in high heels for any length of time without an accident, or major foot pain due to foot reconstruction. I would wear them with my knee length cord and denim skirts, with leggings and a long sweater, or with some skinny jeans and tunic.
Posted by Apryle 4 months, 2 weeks ago
Truthfully I love them both- but THIS beauty appeals to me in a very " Robyn of the Hood " sort of vibe that will not be denied. leggings ( as I negotiate the perils of Sherwood Forest )Jeans as I dazzle the world w/ my fashion- derring do-skirts because I'm 5'9 and and I love that look— I see me rocking 'em to the breaka breaka dawn!!

I prefer this one because although I love my heels every now & then, flats are much comfortable. I would wear these with black denim leggings, a flowy tunic & a motorcycle leather jacket with lots of asymmetrical zipper detailing. I love the buckle strap on this boot. Definitely a trend for Fall 09.

I prefer the nevin over the mallory for a many reasons. I am totally a high heel girl and would probably end up buying the higher pair too. BUT, in these times, you have to be practical. So,the flats are a definite first choice for anyone. Whether you have a vintage outfit, you want to UPDATE,or need a special pair of boots to go with your smashing new find. This pair is the best choice. From jeans to leggings to make you look long, lean & chic( cuffs up/down or you choose a long/short skirt. You have many options. You also have comfortable boots(w/o heels) if it is a long day into night; holidays, an after office night out (No need to change shoes!). ANDif you are traveling,
( packing ONE great pair w/ which creates so many looks in your suitcase, instead of several pairs of shoes/boots. Saves$$$$$$$ on your luggage fees in either suit case,or heavier roll-on ( maybe free but it gets heavy to cart around.)Better yet wear those comfortable things on the plane or drive, that go with anything and save space for the things you buy while you travel! LH

I prefer Malory boots because I'm tall woman with long legs and I don't need the high heels boots.I would wear with these boots a skinny jeans and my black kardigan.
Posted by carmenmyers 4 months, 2 weeks ago
From San Francisco to Paris I walk everywhere. Packing lighly I carry boots and shoes that are versitle yet funky and fun, but also comfy. Leggings, skinny jeans and my vintage skirts and dresses ( long or above knee length)would all look fab with these. Add a scarf, antique jewelry or leather jacket and play the look down and up. Bring them on!
Posted by janccm 4 months, 2 weeks ago
I love them both too. But, I believe I would get better use from the Malory. I would wear them with a lot of things. A short skirt. A long skirt. Over leggings!
I hope I win them........
Posted by windywy 4 months, 2 weeks ago
I prefer tthe Malory boot because of the flat heel. It is very versatile and would look great with many outfits.
Posted by fgail10331 4 months, 2 weeks ago
the malory boot looks classier
Posted by tristanisolde 4 months, 2 weeks ago
Have 8 pairs of really high boots so selected these to win because I could use a pair of low ones.
Posted by kidstyle 4 months, 2 weeks ago
I love the hip elegance of the over the knee boots: high style and elegance, but the flat heel means I could walk for miles in the Malory boot.
Posted by llgozal 4 months, 2 weeks ago
Love these!! So versatile and can wear through a whole day's work on my feet! These babies won't collect dust in my closet. Would die for a pair of these flat OTK hot boots
Posted by mcmosholder 4 months, 2 weeks ago
I would choose these boots over the other boots because of the low, wedge heel. I have trouble wearing heels because I have a bad ankle. I would wear these boots with a pair of skinny jeans or cords.
Posted by jls0923 4 months, 2 weeks ago
I am in desperate need for a pair of flat "over the knee" boots! I have several pairs of high heel boots already, and find these look best with the numerous pairs of leggings to go with! I also live in New England, so I know can stretch these right out into May. How great would these look with a nice mini dress!!?? Pick me! PIck me!

My friend LOVES boots and she has gotten me hooked on them too! However, I'm a bit of a clutz and on top of that have bad leg joints - so heels are not the best choice for me! :) That's why I love the flat boots! This same friend has also gotten me into skinny jeans - but I have no boots to wear with them! I think I would mostly wear the boots with the skinny jeans, but also with skirts for the MANY bachelorette parties I have coming up!
Posted by loist101 4 months, 2 weeks ago
I love the flat boots. They are great. I'm not good with heels. I would wear then with my jeans.
Posted by joannejohnson 4 months, 2 weeks ago
I love these boots! They are especially a great color. They are a rich chocolate brown that will go perfect with my long dk. chocolate brown coat, a pair of skinny jeans and tunic. Add a scarf, some cool earrings, and I will be the talk of the town. I like boots with heels, but due to problems with my feet I can't wear them and it's so hard to find the great boots with flat heels, as they always have high heels! Thanks for a fashionable flat boot!
Posted by tinav203 4 months, 2 weeks ago
I prefer the Malory boot over the Nevin boot because I think that it would be neat to have this style of boot if I had to choose because first of all I don't own a pair of flat boots. I think that they would be a very new and chic look me because I only wear heels. I would wear them with a number of things such as my skinny jeans teamed with a nice sweater/tunic as well as leggings. Sweater dresses with bold accessories would also be nice. If I had Malory boot, I would make the brand proud by looking "PHENOMENAL" in every step I take!
Posted by calicomist 4 months, 2 weeks ago
I prefer the Mallory boot-I am a college professor at a small college located in a small, rural Applachian town. Flat-heels are perfect for climbing the mountains to get to the college on the hill to teach class. Glenville State College in Glenville, WV is located on a mountain. The boots are PERFECT to wear as I stamp out ignorance. :)
Pick me!!
Posted by lmcisneros 4 months, 2 weeks ago
I like Mallory better than Nevin because I prefer a flat heel with an over the knee boot. I would wear this with tights, a short wool skirt and a sweater.
Posted by alyssatiffany 4 months, 2 weeks ago
Though I don't mind wearing high heels, I'm 5'10'' tall without them, so Malory appeals more to me than Nevin. Mal will look great with a pair of dark tights, light colored skirt and a big collared sweater!
Posted by cool-jamssleepwear 4 months, 2 weeks ago
I don't like really hi shoes so I preferred this style...very cute with skirts and skinny jeans.
Posted by lynndylou 4 months, 1 week ago
I love both options, however, I am on the go all the time and think these would be a lot more practical.
Posted by Greneea 4 months, 1 week ago
I love both pairs, ut this one would be great with jeans and a sweater!!

I LOVE this boot. Most of my boots are high-heels, so I would love a change. I would wear it with tuck-in skinny jeans or leggings and a long sweater or tunic, scarf, and unstructured hobo bag. I would also wear it with a soft, feminine dress with a leather jacket and a scarf. Sort of a mix of tough and girly.
Posted by msbanks2u 4 months, 1 week ago
This is a very Hot boot! It looks comfy and the color is right on point for the season. I would definately wear them with a pair of skinny jeans and an oversized sweater!
Posted by hymerhasalison 4 months, 1 week ago
I love this boot! It is preferred over the other one for a number of reasons, even though they are both cute. First, I love how they do not have a heel. This means they would be comfortable enough to wear to to my college classes, shopping, or to work. Also, I love how they have the fold at the top. It makes it have an extra touch of style and adds something to the overall look. Next, I love the little buckle that even further accessorizes the shoe. These boots would be completely perfect for me to wear with a dress and tights, skinny jeans and a cardigan, or a cute skirt. My friends and I have been looking for a pair of boots just like this, and if I won I would wear them everywhere as well as tell all my friends where they can find these adorable shoes.

As a mom living in Alaska heels can be tough when hauling around a toddler over snow and ice, that's why I prefer this style (although I really do love them both). I'd likely wear it with anything from my skinny jeans and a cute sweater and scarf to a skirt with some leggings and a long-sleeved top. But honestly, I could wear them with anything! They are super cute!
Posted by innashamis 4 months, 1 week ago
Love this boot - can wear these with everything!
Posted by pili315 4 months, 1 week ago
I prefer this boot over the other because it looks more comfortable and because it goes more with my "laid-back" style more. I would wear it with stonewashed or dark jeans and a nice tunic blouse. I would love to win these; I love boots.
Posted by HeatherMcKinney 4 months, 1 week ago
I prefer the Mallory Boot (flat heel) because I'm relatively tall. Since I work in the fashion industry (which I must "represent" at all times), I stand on my feet for long hours, and flats are definitely more practical to my needs. Outside of my work place, I would still prefer the flat heel due to comfort wherever I am and whatever I'm doing at the time. From home, to work, to a night out on the town, or even holidays, the Mallory Boot is so tastefully opulent in richness of design and ornamentation. As Paris Hilton phrased... IT'S HOT!!! These boots are so hi-fashion, and chic, and sexy, and versatile, and... They can be paired with the flavor of your day, whether it be casual or dressy. I would outfit the Mallory boots with tights and a beautifully fitted sweater dress, or maybe tights with a short skirt, sweater and scarf. And of course I can't forget my skinny jeans, with a soft flowing tunic. If I'm feeling a bit edgy on the wild side, I'll throw on a leather vest or jacket. And finally to complete my look, accessories to match my "flavor for the day". Yes I'd so love to win these Mallory Boots. They are amazing!!!!! P.S. - My birthday is 11-10. What an incredible birthday present the Mallory Boots would be...

I prefer this style because I don't really like super high heels. I would wear them probably over some sexy skinny jeans and a cute dress shirt with short sleeves (or if it's snowing with a nice long-sleeve V-neck shirt and scarf.
Posted by girlofclay 4 months, 1 week ago
Happiness is: tall boots! I love both pair of boots, but would probably choose this one for the practical purposes of healthier feet and the fact that we have a lot of ice here in the Midwest, and I fear walking on ice in heels.
If I had these boots, I would definitely wear them with some skinny-jeans, a hip-length tank, a long non-heavy sweater on top of the tank, and one of my myriad of scarves. Then show off my boots while shopping and cafe-ing downtown. ;-D Thank you for this opportunity!

I have yet to own a flat boot. Love the "mallory" style. I'd pair it with a chunky knit sweater and dark denim.
Posted by wizfoe 4 months, 1 week ago
I LOVE this boot! I prefer these to the Nevin boots because of their flat heel. I am pretty tall, and I am always afraid that if I wear a heel with an OTK boot, it would just be too intense, so I would love to try this trend out with a flat boot. And these are so beautiful!
I would wear them with some thick tights and this cute tan sweater dress that I have. One of the great things about these are that you can wear them with basically anything. Dresses, with or without tights, jeans, pants. They can be dressed up or down!
I am keeping my fingers crossed!

Although I love the look of high-heels, I prefer these boots because their really snazzy and look extremely comfortable. I would wear them with skinny leg jeans and a turtleneck sweater

I'm a mom of three beautiful kids and the malory boots would be my best choose, they look so comfortable for this busy mom. I'll wear them with skinny jeans, a long sleeves shirt and a belt bellow the waist.
Posted by agauthier79 4 months, 1 week ago
I'd choose this over Via Spiga Nevin because I think it would be a little more versatile than the high heeled version. I would also be able to wear the flat boot more often - I could wear it and look fashionable and still be comfortable while bringing the kids to school, running errands, shopping, etc. I would wear this with skinny jeans and tunics, sweater dresses and leggings, leggings and tunics...really, there isn't much this boot wouldn't go with!
Posted by kimberleycoleman 4 months, 1 week ago
I love the classic style of the Malory! It's so fun, sexy, and versatile. Pair them with skinny jeans, leggings, or a skirt and all eyes are guaranteed to be on you! And the 1" wedge heel makes them perfect for all day wear! The buckle just further enhances the charisma this boot has! I'd love to own a pair! Thanks VS!!!
Posted by jennakanuck 4 months, 1 week ago
I love Via Spiga boots but, as a new Mom, high heels won't be practical for awhile.
Posted by perezd 4 months, 1 week ago
The Malory boot is a must for the fall/winter 2009/10! The flat tall boot is the "IN" boot of the season. That is one reason why I would chose the Malory over the Nevin. The other is obviously comfort! I am a teacher and mom, but I do my best to be fashionable. I would pair them with some brown leggins and a belted sweater dress/coat. This is one of my favorite looks. I wear this look to work and out with girlfriends. I would be unbeleivably excited to win and own them!!!!
Posted by varun12120 4 months, 1 week ago
Ok.So i am someone who walks a lot daily and stand for hours with no rest. So, i usually look for comfort in my shoes rather than style..however, these shoes have both comfort and style.I guess i would pair them with anything and everything from my work attire which is jeans and t-shirt to a dress or leggings and may be my pajamas when i will be going out at for to the store next store for a quick treat.
Posted by Jeanine 4 months, 1 week ago
I am on my feet all day and the flat boot will be more comfortable for me. I will wear it with leggings and t-shirts/tanks and sweaters to skirts and dresses. It is a boot that will be worn many times a week with a diverse look! If I do not win them I will buy them or one similar!
Posted by ngzting 4 months, 1 week ago
I generally like to wear high heels since I'm petite but I find the Malory design to be more of a classic design than that of the Nevin. I realize that the OTK boot is a trend but I tend to prefer a more classical cut or silhouette even in trends. In the black suede, it is a style that I can easily wear with jeans or leggings or a tailored shift dress for work or with a sexy mini when out on a date. It'll be a boot that I'll get a lot of wear out of with a variety of looks.
Posted by sarahgossow-naegle 4 months, 1 week ago
I want this boot!! I really like the other pair, but with a three year old wearing a heel isnt always possible. I would def. wear this with my skinny jeans or a nice mini skirt with dark stockings. I dont get to buy shoes very often, but when i do get to I can always find a great pair...and this boot is absolutely screaming my name!!!
Posted by Glamutante 4 months, 1 week ago
I chose these over the others b/c I prefer a flat heel (or wedge) on an over-the-knee boot unless it's a saucy, black leather pair! I would most likely wear them with something casual... i.e. jeans and a a tee. I'm thinking this really cute tee I just found at Charlotte Russe that says 'Shopping Is Better Than Rehab' ;)
Posted by stacyjohnson 4 months, 1 week ago
I really love the heels, but I'm a busy mom of 2 kids (both under the age of 3!) so I would really get the most use outta these! And they are sill damn sexy!!! I would wear them with jeans and a cool colorful top!
Posted by ofyffe 4 months ago
As one gets older it is no longer about being cute and uncomfortable - unable to stand or walk for long periods of times in heels, it is about being comfortable and still looking good WITHOUT YOUR FEET SCREAMING "get me out of these thing". For me I would wear these boots with whatever I wanted to wear it with .... a dressy dress with or without stockings, skirts, long shirts, etc. whatever is in my closet.
Posted by stephaniehall 4 months ago
I would choose this flat boot over the heeled one because as a busy Mom of 3 with a full time job, running in heels doesn't happen often. I have this fantastic grey cable knit sweater dress that would look so fab with these boots. I'd probably cinch the waist with a wide brown leather belt and accessorize with a scarf and some gorgeous silver and gold mix jewelry. If it's cold enough I'd take it a step further and add colored tights.
Posted by megrogers86 4 months ago
I love both the Malory and the Nevin but I would choose the Malory because it's covered wedge heel makes it totally perfect for any occasion. I love tall boots, and this one would give lift without looking too over the top. I would wear the Malory with any dress and a boho chic coat or wrap, or with colored tights and a tunic, or even add a little to skinny jeans, a plain t-shirt and one of my favorite big chunky scarves. So many options...love it!

I am stylish and I live an adventurous everyday reality.I can balance in high hills but it looks a little weird running around wearing them.Perfect for working out the natural everyday- action way!!! :)

i've been looking for a pair of boots like this for a long while now that i could actually afford.. i have baby now so the stiletto boots are not working for me anymore!! i prefer the flat boot now bc i can actually chase my baby in them with out tripping over my heal. i'd wear them with a pair of skinny jeans and a slouchy tee!

As a stay-at-home mom to a 10 month old the last thing I need to be wearing is platform boots. I may not work a 9 to 5 job but I like to be stylish as I chase my baby around. These boots look very comfortable yet super stylish.

I love the secret heel - best way to sneak in an inch for a girl my height :) As a newcomer to NYC I would wear these while wandering around all day looking for bargains to pair with them! I would wear these boots with skinny pants and build up an equestrian look one day or a bright colored jumpsuit and scour the city for a coordinating belt and a few fun bracelets. Good luck to me!
Posted by melissauno-eischen 4 months ago
I'd love these because the flat heals wouldn't hurt my back so much since I have spinal stennosis. I do need heels for height being only 5' and a smidgen but I really shouldn't...hmm.
I'd probably wear these with a like color pair of tights and a charcoal cashmere dress that I have which I've been dieing to wear. I'll probably wear it out on a date with my hubby before he deploys to Afghanistan.

I adore the high heal style but for me it would be the flatter version; I know I'd be much more comfy and wear them more! I'd wear them out in a dress or tights and top. Girls just wanna have fun!!!

I had enough of heels already! Plus, my bf is not much taller than me. Well, to be honest, he is my height exactly. Well, maybe 1" shorter. So, I would get either pair of boots as they are both fabulous, but I have to go with the flat ones! And I will wear them with thick matte grey tights, long orange cardigan, and my new brown Mackage coat. I love mismatching colors!
Posted by opalbaker 4 months ago
I love these boots because heels in my neighborhood(rocky, country, mountains)are a danger. These are beautiful and comfortable,a plus for me.
Posted by galligator 4 months ago
I like the Malory better because it's low enough for winters here where it gets icy and snowy. Heels look nice, but I really am not willing to risk a sprained or broken ankle just to wear a heel in winter. The suede just makes it a little luxurious too. I would wear it with everything, because I think boots are too sexy not to wear with jeans, slacks or full winter skirts.
Posted by lac2006 4 months ago
The Malory is a beautiful boot that you can either dress up or down. You could wear them with anything, during the day or night, and you would look great in them. The flat heel would be more comfortable, and just plain safter to walk around in. The Nevin is stunning, but are not as versatile. So if your are a one pair a boot type of gal the Malory would be the best choice.
Posted by micalholcomb 4 months ago
Very stylish and looks comfortable. I can see wearing it with jeans or dress or skirt. Would be a plus to your closit and accesorries. I love them!

I love the look of high boots, and when I saw Via Spiga's Malory, I thought I'd found boot heaven. Malory has a "Robin Hood takes Soho" vibe, in a fashionista sort of way. The flat heels would allow me to pound the pavement, while the high shaft would make me feel that I could step over skyscrapers in a single step. What to wear with Malory? Everything . . .or nothing . . .I need these boots.

Thank you Shoe Hunting so very much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so excited to have won the Via Spiga 'Malory' boots. I can't wait to receive them and start wearing them. I already have many different outfits picked out to match the boots. Again, thank you Shoe Hunting.
