It seems, when Iris van Herpen and United Nude collaborate, they can do no wrong. Both brands are successful and ridiculously-innovative in their own right; pairing them up doubles as a recipe for success, and results in wickedly-stunning shoes. Their latest footwear, designed for van Herpen’s runway show, is so intensely conceptual, production was limited to the four pairs that walked the runway. Sao Paulo designer Andreia Chaves created these extraordinary ‘invisible shoes‘, which are made from a ‘faceted mirrored surface allowing the shoe to reflect different angles of the environment around it thus camouflaging itself with its surroundings’.

Haute Couture Fashion Week is always an event to arouse the senses, and this morning we've just been marveling at the groundbreaking costumes on display. We had an extra special surprise from Jantaminiau last night, however, who had cooked up something really rather special in the footwear department: just look at these incredible sequinned claw heels.

Fashion Designer, Iris van Herpen, from the Netherlands, has created fangs protruded sole shoes for United Nude. The United Nude products are about clear concepts, elegance and innovation.

This kind of clever visual punnery is clearly what the heel was made for. Bravo!
