There’s a fringe trend upon us. Behold:

Here’s LC out and about in a pair of blue, fringed-ankle sandals. I’m not opposed to the fringe trend; many designers have gotten it right, like the Betsey Johnson “Hipster” or many of the moccasin inspired boots from Minnetonka. However, LC’s sandals aren’t doing it for me. The Fug Girls have already expressed disdain at LC’s footwear choice, and made the valid point that walking around with these things on your ankles would be a bit irritating. I personally don’t think they’re flattering at all and I wouldn’t wear a shoe that looks like it needs to be combed.

Here is what I know about Heidi Montag: I know she’s from some alternate Hollywood reality show universe, where women whom indulge in plastic surgeries are called feminist heroes; she’s dating some dude named Spencer Pratt, who looks like the King of the Douches; she falsely believes she has musical talent; she’s in the fashion industry, like so many other useless reality show tarts who think they have talent.

Lauren Conrad is dressing down what could have easily been a red carpet dress. Through the laid back power of flip flops, any outfit can become casual.

The latest on Lauren Conrad’s life is that she has said goodbye to the Teen Vogue internship. After a few years there, I think it is a perfect time for her to move on. If only she had worked harder to get herself a job there. However, Lauren has been successful with her television show and fashion line. In this photo, Lauren is looking lovely in a white strapless dress and light gray jeweled flats. I think jeweled flats are a great way to pull together an outfit with very little effort. Also, they add glam without adding foot aches.
