Vanessa Hudgens in the Botkier “Xenia”

So, Vanessa. We meet again.

I don’t know why this girl enjoys cankle-inducing footwear so much, but here she is again, sashaying around in some kind of ultra-shiny super-cuffed pirate wench-dominatrix boot. I can’t say that I absolutely hate these boots, but I sure as hell bet her ankles do. What’s with kids today?! Or is it just these girls from High School Musical who like to fug up their ankles?

Celebrate Halloween in Style

As the Halloween season approaches, my inner horror movie fan is creeping out. Last night, I pleaded with my roomate to watch a horror movie with me. Unfortunately, the movie we chose to watch was Hostel II, which terrified the living jesus out of me and left me with a debilitating fear of backpacking across Europe and Quentin Tarantino. As I stare at the computer screen this afternoon, my mind is plagued with images of torture and bondage, so here’s some torture inspired shoes to bring in the Halloween season:

Posh wears silver Louboutins similar to the Mink “Monkey” pump to promote fashion line; forgets to shave her back

Here’s Posh in Manchester promoting her fashion line. She looked quite heavenly in a white Giambattista Valli dress that made her appear to have angel wings when looking front on. When she turned around however, it was revealed that Posh’s dress had a white fur back. A girl’s gotta look fabulous while she’s hiking through the arctic tundra!

I think the dress is lovely from the front, but I’m not sure how I feel about the back view. It looks a little unflattering and puts images in my head of Posh Backham clubbing baby harp seals with Christian Louboutin shoes, then tossing them in a Louis Vuitton carry all. Posh is, indeed, wearing Louboutins - although I’m not entirely sure that she clubbed any baby seals with them. These sky-high pumps look fantastic with the dress, and even with a back as furry as Robin Williams, Posh pulls this look off.

One day, everything will be made out of Croslite; landfills of the future will be filled with Croc shoes that will never decompose

This high-heeled shoe is made out of Croslite. You heard me right. This is a Croc shoe.

The travelling shoes of the Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants 2 Premiere

Here’s Alexis Bledel at the premiere for the Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants 2. Alexis looks very sleek and stylish in this ruffly one-shoulder dress. I would probably hate if it weren’t for the fact that this girl seems to actually make this unique style work.

Alexis paired her dress with a pair of strappy black heels by Alaia. I love the look of these heels. Just elaborate enough to compliment the dress, while still being reserved enough not to overwhelm her look.

Shauna Sand and Scherer Gonzales share a love of lucite

Here’s the always classy Shauna Sand in her lucite heels again. It seems these shoes are her top choice for the beach, the club, or posing nude on bear rugs. As horrid as I think these plastic shoes look on her, I did happen to stumble across an interesting take on lucite heels:

Shauna Sand ditches the lucite heels; wears something equally as hideous

Shauna says, “Bow down before your lucite queen!”

I get the impression that Shauna Sand might be into bondage. Or at least her legs are.

Lindsay Lohan turns 22 in Louboutin “Zipette”; no reports of DUIs, alcohol poisoning or stolen fur coats

Lindsay Lohan turned the big twenty-two yesterday. If you felt the Earth vibrate last night, it was probably the vibrational fallout from this party girl’s shindig. I was going to send her a present, but apparently they don’t let you send a cocaine and adderall in the mail.

Hardware and haute couture: Loewe’s surreal shoes

Excuse me. I think you have a lightbulb stuck to your heel.

These beautiful suede pumps are from Spanish fashion house Loewe. I love the combination of a retro style pump with a quirky, lightbulb heel. Loewe creative director Stuart Vevers used the country of Spain itself as an inspiration for his new collection, with Salvador Dali-like surrealism as a stimuli for these unique and stylish heels. Vevers also created this fantastic screwdriver t-strap heel:

She’s just being Miley in boots like Hollywood Heels “Femme”

“Every career thing I do can’t be perfect.” How articulate of Miley.

Here’s Miley Cyrus on the cover of Billboard magazine. She looks so incredibly bubbly and cheery, bursting with toothy, animated joy - almost as if the Disney Corporation built a magic kingdom in her ass. I suppose it’s not so much that there’s actually a magic kingdom in her ass, and moreso that she herself is the great white stallion that Disney will ride until Hannah Montana goes the way of Lizzie McGuire.
