Kanye and Alexis look fierce for Fendi; Martinez Valero “Fire” is harder, better, faster, stronger

Here’s Kanye West and fiancée Alexis Phifer at a Fendi store opening during Paris Fashion Week. A designer herself, Alexis has somehow found a heterosexual male who obviously feels as passionately about fashion as she does. The fact that it’s the very sexy and talented Kanye West is just icing on the cake. I’ve never seen Alexis’ work, but I would be very interested in seeing what the girl who snagged the Louis Vuitton Don can do.

Madonna stays behind the scenes in Steven “Lapell”

Here’s Madonna at the Berlin Film Festival, where she debuted Filth and Wisdom, a short film she directed. You wanna know what? The movie apparently isn’t horrible. I’m glad Madonna has finally figured out that she’s more use to us behind the camera than in front of it. The only time I want to see Madonna in front of the camera is if she’s singing and dancing on a gondola, kissing black saints, or wearing cone bras. She’s a smart lady, blessed with a keen business sense, but God knows that I can’t sit through another movie like Swept Away or Body of Evidence or The Next Best Thing, because the next best thing would be someone WHO CAN ACT.
