There’s a fringe trend upon us. Behold:

Here’s LC out and about in a pair of blue, fringed-ankle sandals. I’m not opposed to the fringe trend; many designers have gotten it right, like the Betsey Johnson “Hipster” or many of the moccasin inspired boots from Minnetonka. However, LC’s sandals aren’t doing it for me. The Fug Girls have already expressed disdain at LC’s footwear choice, and made the valid point that walking around with these things on your ankles would be a bit irritating. I personally don’t think they’re flattering at all and I wouldn’t wear a shoe that looks like it needs to be combed.

As I said earlier, the Oscars are a dull time for shoes. However, I have managed to spot some sexy heels, even if they were on someone who could arguably be the worst dressed attendee:

The term “two-faced” never evokes a positive image. My mind jumps between backstabbing friends and hideous Batman villians when I hear that word. However, it is the perfect description of Betsey Johnson’s “Kell” shoe:

Pictured: Spice Girls, version 3.0 - except for Posh, who’s probably version 6.0, going on breasts-lifted-to-Alaska version 6.5. It’s been a long, relaxing time since the Spicers have been together. Ever wonder what they talk about after all these years? What else? SHOES.

Sequins were hot last winter seasons; however, many people (like myself) were unsure about how they felt concerning the trend of full sequin dresses. This holiday season, sequins are popping up on shoes.

This season, there’s no better way to be fashionably festive than by sporting a cute pair of tartan shoes. Tartan is one of those loud patterns that can be overwhelming when overused, but I love a little splash of plaid in an outift. Bear in mind, I have Scottish roots. However, it’s also perfect for the holiday season. We’re not talking grunge style shirts or clan kilts, we’re talking red hot shoes that will warm up anyone’s winter:

Betsey Johnson is a fabulous collection. And I simply adore Betsey Johnson Kipp.
Though some designs are a bit over the top, I have to commend Betsey Johnson for being all about the details. Every Betsey Johnson shoe that I have tried on has been presented like an intricate piece of art. This collection not only has a huge variety of unique designs and distinct personality, but also carries a high degree craftsmanship.

Do you ever have the urge to just “Grrr”? Do you wish people would think you a little more wild than an uptight, stressed out woman? Well, discover your inner-animal with these animal print shoes. Several celebrities are also wearing this hot trend. Mary Kate Olsen, Rebecca Romijn and Katherine Heigl all look fabulous in their leopard print flats. Animal print shoes are hot. However, pairing leopard print shoes with a leopard print dress – not so hot. Also, please, please do not mix animal prints. You want people to think you are wild, not crazy.
Giraffes are not notorious for their sexiness. However, with these Steve Madden Mandrn-G high heels, they should be. These shoes will help you feel as tall and posed like a giraffe.
