For those of you who are fans of Ke$ha’s “Tik Tok”, here’s a parody of the song called “Crocs in Socks”.

His cool can overpower the fact that he’s not only wearing Crocs, but holding a second pair and gazing longingly into their soles (*insert rim shot sound here*). Maybe the fact that he’s 72 years old, wearing Crocs and still frolicking on a boat in France with women in bikinis half his age is proof of his overpowering cool. Maybe he’s Jack f**ing Nicholson and can wear whatever he wants. Maybe we should leave him alone. Because maybe he’ll electrocute you with a clown hand buzzer. Or stalk you with an axe. Or give you those crazy eyes. Yeah, you know the ones I’m talking about.

A stray dog finds shelter in Paris Hilton’s shoe

Call in the troops! The Crocs have mutated into a super-massive form and are now feeding on small animals! Somebody help that dog! Warn BitBit and Tinkerbell! THE CROCS ARE COMING FOR YOU!

No, the giant Crocs are not actually taking over (yet). This is a “croc” shaped pet bed made by Sasquatch Pet Beds and if you look closely, you can see the humiliation in that dog’s eyes. It’s totally thinking “After they take my picture, I’m going to pee on this monstrosity, and then hump the photographer’s leg.” Why anyone would want a giant Croc shoe sitting in their house is beyond me, let alone abuse their pet by exposing it to this fug. Has anyone called PETA?

I’m just not sure that I understand the appeal of a Croc shaped pet bed. What’s next? Ugg shaped fish bowls? Personally, I’m holding out for the Christian Louboutin kitty litter box.

What do you think of the Croc bed?

It looks like a croc shoe, an ugg boot and a sheep went for a swim in a kiddie pool of Pepto Bismol. While it may stop acid indigestion, it does not stop the overwhelming urge to gouge out my eyes.

These remind me of those old winter boots my mother would always force me to wear even though I HATED THEM. They were big, and clunky and just plain UGLY. People, just because it’s winter does not mean you need to have cankles!

Maybe, just maybe, I would consider these boots if I were Barbie, and Skipper and I were about to trek across the Arctic tundra. What do you think of the Crocs “Nadia”?

This high-heeled shoe is made out of Croslite. You heard me right. This is a Croc shoe.

High-heels crossed with Crocs! Dogs and cats sharing food bowls! Lindsay and Paris sipping from the same frappuccino! MADNESS!!!!

Despite my long standing hatred for Crocs – I only ever wore a pair once that belonged to my mother and I tried them on for five seconds just so that I may experience the fug for one horrid moment – I actually don’t mind the look of this shoe. Not particularly stunning, but wearable. The sole features nubs to stimulate blood flow, thus creating a what Crocs claims is a comfortable high heel.

Crocs has released an entire summer line called You by Crocs. This line for women is inspired by fashion and comfort. Many of the shoes are made from materials like patent leather, as oppose to regular Croslite. These materials mixed with a Croslite insole create what Crocs is calling “Soleful Technology”, to create a truly comfortable high-heel. I’m skeptical as to how comfortable you can really make a high-heel… If anyone tries these heeled Crocs, please let us know how they are!!!

Crocs, really? That is so not rock star. I suppose Tyler’s a plastic rock star, now. He may as well go home and play Guitar Hero.

She must get horrible blisters

I know three things about Shauna Sand: She’s a Playboy model, she was married to Lorenzo Lamas and she loves plastic shoes.

Shauna is seen here wearing her lucite platforms. You may recognize from them, say, I dunno, EVERY SINGLE PHOTO OF SHUANA SAND EVER TAKEN.

Gossip readers will tell you that Shauna is notorious for wearing these heels everywhere she goes. I figure she must think that these shoes make her legs look long and lithe, in the same way a pair of nude coloured shoes would do. However, you lose the effect when you wear them every day! Not to mention the fact that these are plastic shoes. Do you know what other shoes are made of plastic? Jelly shoes. It’s not 1989, and no one needs to be wearing shoes that cause such harsh blisters and horribly smelling feet.

On the subject of plastic shoes, let’s talk about Crocs. If Shauna’s such a fan of plastic shoes, maybe she should look into a pair of Crocs Prima:

Sorry, Shauna. The Crocs Prima is not available in a transparent colour.

Kelly Taylor chooses herself. And Crocs.

I think I speak for most when I say: What the hell?!

Jennie Garth and her family recently did an interview with Redbook, which featured photos of her family wearing Crocs. Is this because Crocs are a “family” shoe? Or did Kelly Taylor, the one and only character that made Jennie famous, secretly love Crocs? I think this photo shoot would have been better if it featured Jennie and her family slapping photos of Brenda Walsh.

The Garth family looks a little too perfect here, like some wealthy Beverly Hills family who’s matriarch is a coke head cougar. The over-use of happy, colourful Crocs make it look like they’re hiding something. What self-respecting family would dress their entire family in Crocs otherwise?

This article is just part of the big Beverly Hills 90210 comeback that’s come about, after word that a possible spin-off was in the makes. Y’know, because Melrose Place wasn’t enough. Maybe the producers want to remake 90210 so that they can shove it down the OC‘s collective throat, to show those 90210 wannabes how it’s done. Let’s just hope they do it without the use of Crocs.

There has been much debate on whether Crocs are ugly or cute. There are three types of people in the Croc debate. There are the people who think they are cute and stylish, there are those who know they are ugly but where them anyways because they are comfy, then there are those who are totally anti-Croc.

However, hate or love them, Crocs were featured on the Celebrity Apprentice two weeks ago. Crocs wants to start a share the love program. This program would allow people to donate their used or new Crocs. These Crocs would then be donated to people in countries that do not have shoes.

What do you think of the Crocs now? Wouldn’t they be great for third world countries to have as protection for their feet? So buy a pair for yourself and a pair for someone else. As team Hydras’ slogan was, “Wear them, share them”.

What do you think about the Croc sharing program?

What are your thoughts on Crocs Ballet flats (a.k.a. Crocs Prima)?

Here’s mine:

Pros:

They’re functional. They are definitely a more feminine version of your conventional Crocs

They’re created with technology. They’re made of patented “Crosslite” that softens with body heat, allowing the shoe to mold to the foot for a custom fit. They’re also slip resistant and have good traction

They’re super comfortable. The foot bed is supposedly extra soft and extra cushy making for extreme comfort

They prevent stinky feet. They’re resistant to bacteria and fungus to help prevent odor

They come in 16 colors. Variety is always a nice thing

They’re affordable

Cons:

They aren’t exactly sophisticated

They remind me of Jellies. I don’t particularly like Jellies

I’m not fond of having plastic looking shoes

The holes at the front are manageable, but the back is certainly questionable

I’d imagine that Crocs were named after Crocodiles. So when I saw Crocs “Mammoth” Clog, I felt a little confused. Did the shoe scientists go wrong in trying to create a hybrid of two styles? I still have not decided whether or not I like these shoes.

In an attempt to fit into holiday fashions, Crocs decided to ad fur to its shoe. Polyester-nylon faux fur, to be precise. They come in a wide array of colors, ranging from conventional colors, such as army, chocolate, khaki, and black and infantile colors, such as baby blue and girly pink.

I’m not sure if Crocs is attempting to be the new UGG, because I feel like they’re trying to achieve the same feeling here. However, this is the #1 best selling shoe in the “Mules/Clogs” section of Nordstroms, so Crocs must know what they’re doing.

The “Mammoth” retails at $39.95.

When I first heard of Mammoth Crocs, I was a wee bit worried. I feared that Croc shoes everywhere had given birth to some kind of giant Croc, and with their oversized leader, these hideous clodhoppers were finally going to take over the Earth.

Thankfully, the Mammoth Croc is not a Bond villain in the form of an oversized shoe. It’s the Croc’s Arctic cousin:

It’s existence still leaves me a bit perturbed. Is this evidence that the Croc shoe is evolving, adapting to cooler climates so that it can spread it’s fugliness from pole to pole? Like a flu virus that adapts and gets stronger year to year, we may never get rid of the Croc.

Myself and my fellow bloggers have expressed our distaste for Crocs. Bill Maher is on our side. Even escalators have a problem with them. So why do I still see them everywhere? The human race must not surrender to the fug of the Croc!

It’s not that Crocs are useless. They’re excellent gardening shoes. They’re easy and comfortable for that quick run to the store. And I’m sure the mammoth version is wonderful for ploughing your driveway or hanging above your fireplace, to be filled with Christmas treats. Although Santa may give you a lump of coal for your crimes against fashion.

My point is that Crocs are not hip, stylish or flattering. Where you Croc fans see a fashion statement, I just see big, oafish feet.

When you hear the word ‘crocs’, what do you think of? I think of a game I used to have as a child. It was some kind of Hungry, Hungry Hippos rip-off, except that it featured hungry crocs instead of hippos.

In an attempt to rip off Hungry, Hungry Hippos as much as possible, the crocs were these cartoonish, oafish looking creatures.

Everytime I see crocs, I see those dumb, happy – and let’s not forget – hungry, crocodiles. They’re like an animated version of a clog shoe – jelly shoes for a new generation, minus the painful blisters. A cartoon shoe, possibly inhabited by an old lady, I’m not sure.

There’s just something silly about them, and plastic shoes in general.

Don’t get me wrong, I love my crocs, they’re super comfy, and who doesn’t want to wear a cartoon on your feet? However, they’re definitely they type of shoe I wear paired with a nest of hair and sweats while I’m making a run to the hardware store when my toilet is clogged.

And let me tell you, with the optional backs trap, these crocs cayman are excellent for running in the opposite direction when I run into that cute boy while looking like a mess.

(A small glimpse of the fashion hell)

Animals have inspired many cute fashions. Who does not love having a little cheetah print or zebra print in their wardrobe.

However, out of all the animals in the world, a crocodile just does not scream sexy! This is very apparent with the women’s Crocs Cayman.

I do not care how comfortable they are. They are loud and just plain hideous. The only people that should be able to wear them are people working in the water, children under the age of nine (anything looks cute of the little ones), and people who spend 99.5% of their time away from socialization.

I know this seems a little unfair. If you are set on enjoying the comfort and affordable price of the Crocs, invest in a pair of their “Prima Ballet” slips ons, which cost $30, or the Athens’ flip flop for about $30.

These two pair of Crocs are not so offensive to the fashion community.

Oh, and please, if you see someone wearing Crocs Caymans and socks, just run away screaming. Anyway capable of that can be capable of other several things that can harm you.
