Britney Spears commits credit card fraud for Steve Madden boots

by Stiletto Pumped on January 29, 2010

For as many troubles as I’ve had with Britney, I will say that I’m glad to see that the girl understands the deep love between a woman and her boots.

As we all know, the Britster has been imited to a $1500 a week spending allowance – much too conservative for a woman who wears Jimmy Choos, Australia Luxe and drinks twenty seven Starbuck’s frappuccinos a day. Britney recently found a loop hole that allows her exceed her limit – what we call “credit card fraud”. Britney’s been using her bodygaurd’s credit cards for her more expensive purchases – and was nearly refused by the fine people at Steve Madden when she tried to buy two pairs of boots. At least she was attempting credit card fraud in the name of good boots!

I hope the boots she picked up are nicer than the pair she’s sporting here. I’m not a fan of the buckle overload on these, which bear a resemblance to the Marc by Marc Jacobs bump toe buckle boot:

I like the motorcycle boot trend that’s going on right now, but all the buckles on these are just distracting and ugly, as they are on Britney’s boot. I’d rather see the Steve Madden boots she broke the law for! What do you think?
