Opinions wanted: Rick Owens thigh high flap boot
Here’s Fergie on stage with the Black Eyed Peas. Her futuristic stage style is partly due to the Rick Owens thigh high flap wedge boots she’s sporting. The unconventional style of these boots goes a long way to give Fergie that 3008 look that seems to be BEP’s new shtick.
While the “hooker from the future” look is perfect for BEP’s stage show, I’m not sure how I feel about these Rick Owens boots walking around in everyday life. It looks like it creates, an avant garde, yet unattractive silhouette. Why would you want to hide your calves with a pointy flap of leather? These boots look like a creator of my least favourite thing: Cankles! What are your thoughts?
Yuck! There’s nothing I like about them, at all. Shiny, trash bag-like, and not flattering to the figure.
