I’m not too interested in watching the new Melrose Place remake, however, I may have to check it out if there’s going to be people walking around dressed like this without a trace of irony:

I suppose Katie Cassidy borrowed her chapeau from Madonna’s collection of hats that double as satellites, but what fresh hell put forth those clodhoppers she’s passing off as boots?
These fold over boots are quickly gaining popularity, with Rihanna sporting models from Balmain, and popular models by Rick Owens and Giuseppe Zanotti popping up all over the place. The fashion world opted for skinny jeans over bell bottoms and flares long ago, and now it’s like they want us to wear the bell bottoms on our boots. No thank you!
I just can’t force myself to like these boots. They’re clunky, unflattering, and look like they were pulled out of your crazy aunt’s closet, where they were being stored next to legwarmers and a unitard. What are your thoughts on this trend? I know there are some people who love the Giuseppe Zanotti for Balmain buckle boots, which are a very similar style to the boots Katie Cassidy’s sporting. Please people! Tell me why you like it, what drugs you’re taking and where I can get some!

I like them, especially with that short dress! The cutout part makes them sexy without revealing too much. I will admit it is a hard look to pull off…
