Oh, to be Mary-Kate Olsen, just trying to live a normal life. On her quick jaunt out to Starbucks, she throws her hair hastily back, throws on her worn in hoodie and baggy jeans, and naturally, finishes off this casual look with seven inch Prada platforms:
Oh la la, classy.
We’ve seen MK in these platforms before, but in a much more appropriate setting – a red carpet event. I kind of like that MK wears Prada platforms to step out to the store – it’s so unnecessarily excessive, something I would expect from a starlet who’s completely out of touch with real life. Of course you pick the giant Prada platforms over a pair of running shoes, of course. Because you are fabulous! And you look really, really short in flats!
I would totally step out to the store wearing something like this with heels, but in my case, I may be mistaken for a hooker, or a homeless person who picked up high heels in the trash. In fact, that’s what I would think of MK Olsen if I didn’t know better.
Hmm… This makes me wonder, does Posh go out to the store in her giant, heeless, Antonio Beradi boots? Does Gwyneth Paltrow step out in her seven inch Giuseppe Zanotti heels? Well, I suppose we should just be be grateful they’re actually wearing shoes. (Britney Spears, I’m looking at you.)
