I spotted Mischa Barton wearing these startling tiki-like Louis Vuitton Spring 2009 sandals on ShoeBlog. Would you be brave enough to wear these shoes in public? I am not a fan – they creep me out! The ‘beards’ look itchy, and I actually did a doubletake to make sure that the hair is attached to the shoes and not her feet (yuck). Notice that the shoe on the left has three beady ‘eyes’, while the other only has two? These Louis Vuitton sandals take the tribal trend way too far, if you ask me. What do you think?

They are interesting and over the top but I think that’s the appeal of them. I don’t hate them.
