Unfortunately I couldn’t snap pictures of the latest Casadei collection, but above you’ll see some of the shoes from previous collections. I have to say, none of the pictures here do justice to the Fall/Winter 2009 collection, but you get the idea.
The Casadei collection was my favorite, and it was the first collection I visited on my trip. I got to chat with the president of the company, Sebastian Marzaro for quite some time, and he showed me each and every shoe. The collection featured elegant embellishments and bold, feminine silhouettes (many high platforms and stilettos). The most memorable shoe of the collection for me was this platform sandal that had a heel with alternating rows of zippers and crystals. Another honorable mention would have to be the svelte thigh-high boot that stood tall in the center of the room. With shoes ranging from wedges to stilettos, and snakeskin to patent, Casadei’s collection had something for every woman who wants to stand out.
