Say hello to the Rick Owens Fold Over Buckle Boot. I had a “whoa” moment when I first saw them, as in “Whoa, what freaky-ass shoe universe did I just pop into?”
These boots are described as “punk chic”, which confuses me as I was leaning more towards “swashbuckling chic”. Argh matey! Is this what the punk kids are wearing today? If so, does the new dance fad involve tripping over one’s gargantuan boot cuff and plummeting to the floor?
I’m trying very hard to see these boots as fashionable, but every time I look at them, I just see those big cones you put over your pet’s head to keep them from licking their naughty bits. What do you guys think of the Rick Owens Fold Over Buckle Boot? Would you wear them?

They are fun to look at but I wouldn’t wear them.
I like these actually, they’re bold, hard wearing and would go with most outfits. As long as that huge extra bit at the top folds over the boot. Leaving them as in the picture would not work for me as a look!
