Many major designers and fashion houses have jumped on the gladiator trend, including Giuseppe Zanotti, Dolce Vita and Balenciaga. Givenchy designed a captivating gladiator style bootie, that we’ve seen on Heidi Montag and Cassie, just to name a few. Today I stumbled upon these from Givenchy, which seems to be their answer to the Balenciaga full-blown gladiator boot:
This is the Givenchy pony hair strappy stiletto and I’m not quite sure how I feel about it. I have already stated that I am not a huge fan of the seizure-inducing Balenciaga gladiator boot, however I feel like I might take it over these. I’ve been finding that many of these trendy, gladiator style boots just have too much detail, and I find them to be overwhelming. I can’t imagine wanting a pair of sandals to be wrapped all the way up my legs in the summer heat. They were concieved for the runway, and that’s where I think they should stay!
On second thought, maybe we should send these to Shauna Sand as a replacement for her hideous, leg-capturing sandals? What do you think of the Givenchy gladiator boot?

I think YAY, but I also think not everyone’s legs were made for these shoes. and I also think when Rihanna wore the beaded black ones they looks hideous on her. I think these are a gorgeous pair.
I’m not that crazy about that style of the gladiator shoe. I just bought these cute gladiator sandels that are so great from ShopGoldyn..It’s a really great site if anyone is looking for amazing clothing!
