This summer is certainly becoming the summer of the gladiator! Put on your helmet with the plume everyone, because here we go:
High School Musical sweet heart Vanessa Hudgens was spotted at LAX airport wearing a pair of black gladiators by Giuseppe Zanotti. Jennifer Lopez was spotted wearing the same pair in beige with a Fendi dress while out on a boating trip on Saturday:
The new mother went on the boat trip with husband/zombie, Marc Anthony.
Ashlee Simpson was spotted wearing a black pair of gladiators with a hippie-dippie dress and headband:
Singer and possible Diddy-fraternizer Cassie wore a pair gladiator booties by Givenchy to a promotional event at Madison Square Gardens:
These are the same Givenchy gladiators that went horribly awry in gold on Heidi Montag’s feet. I think Cassie pulls these booties off way better than Heidi could have ever imagined in her wildest fashion dreams. The gladiator is certainly becoming the hot shoe trend of summer 2008! I disliked this trend at first, but it’s slowly growing on me like a bad fungus. I love the Giuseppe Zanotti ones – very simple and chic. What do you think?
