The Franco Sarto “Comedy” is the first step towards Hilary Duff’s escape from fashion dementia

It doesn’t matter how many nasty things I say about Lindsay Lohan. I will always like her more than god-awful Hilary Duff:

In what universe is Duff living, wherein it’s warm enough for shorts and sleeveless shirts, but cool enough for scarves and knee boots? Before I go into a rant about how she looks like Lizzie McHooker, I just want to say this: GIRLS WITH VERY LITTLE NECKAGE SHOULD NOT WEAR SCARVES BECAUSE YOU WILL LOOK LIKE THIS. Beautiful, swan like necks are what make fashion scarves work, and Duff looks about two steps away from bringing her head back into her turtle shell. Okay, moving on.

I feel like I might really like the boots if they weren’t paired with that outfit. They’d look fantastic with some skinny jeans, and look a wee bit like the beautiful Calvin Klein “Soledad”. Picture this: Duff looses the scarf, and switches her nude hooker boots to a pair of esparilles. Wouldn’t that look better? I’m thinking a nice red pair, to compliment the green shirt she has hiding underneath that hideous scarf. Maybe something like the Franco Sarto “Comedy”:

The Franco Sarto “Comedy” is one of the most popular espadrilles this season. This satin upper sits atop a 2.75″ heel and platform, and features an adjustable slingback. A versatile piece, you can dress this shoe up or down. What do you think of the Franco Sarto “Comedy” and Hilary Duff’s outfit?
