A while back, I posted about Paris Hilton’s new shoe line. Her line has larger shoe sizes to accomodate the ladies out there with bigger feet, like Paris herself. However, after seeing this picture today, I’m beginning to think that Paris’ line has larger sizes in order to accomodate the drag queen demographic:
Somewhere out there, a cheetah is looking at this picture and saying “Man, even I wouldn’t wear that.”
I’m not going to lie – I do enjoy animal prints, in small doses. However, this shoe is a bit too much for me. It looks like the San Francisco Zoo threw up on a wedge sandal, just to have Paris pick it up out of the trash while she was looking for discarded bottles of vicodin. Seriously, the only way I’m going to wear this shoe is if I’m going to put on a tail feather and sing “I Will Survive” to room full of men in daisy dukes and wife beaters – and I do not have any plans of doing that. Yet.
Maybe Paris should look into creating shoes that are a little more tasteful, so as to not further corrupt the younger generation with her skankiness. It’s as if the mission statement of her brand is “I will turn your children into prostitutes.” Paris, listen up: One of my favourite animal print shoes is by Naughty Monkey:
This is the Naughty Monkey “Phenominal”, a shoe that uses two animal prints and still has more taste than that other shoe. Paris Hilton, take heed. Better yet, just go away.
