Lindsay wears booties like Nine West “Packrat”; corrupts young sister with boots like Steve Madden “Cecillia”
The world prepares for another fashion challenged Lohan.
Lindsay Lohan was out the other night with her younger sister, Ali. I’m happy to see that Lindsay’s wearing a dress, as oppose to just a shirt. I actually don’t mind what she’s wearing. The furry/shiny jacket is kind of fugly, and I don’t care for the material of the dress, but I’m just happy her ass isn’t showing.
However, all is not good on the Lohan front. Do you see what her sister is wearing on her feet? Slouchy, pirate boots. Who is she, Britney Spears? Poor, young Ali has Lindsay’s horrid fashion sense as an influence. Don’t act like Linds isn’t responsible for this; I’ve seen Lindsay in slouchy, pirate boots before! Save Ali!
Lindsay, on the other hand, wore a nice pair of patent leather booties, very similar to the Nine West “Packrat”:
This is odd to me, to be referencing Lindsay as the better dressed individual. The Nine West “Packrat” is a cute, little bootie that goes with just about anything, but looks very sexy with skirts. The patent leather will make your look pop.
If you’d like to try Ali’s pirate look, remember that the slouch mixed with the large cuff and flat heel may end up making you look stumpy. Maybe something like these by Steve Madden will work better:
This is the Steve Madden “Cecillia”, a slouchy, pirate style boot that’s a little more refined than Ali’s giant swashbuckling clodhoppers. The cuff can be readjusted, and the fit is a little more snug on the legs. What do you think of the “Cecillia” and Linds’ fashion influence on young Ali?
