Fila “Montello”: Sexy enough without Paris Hilton

Heiress turned felon Paris Hilton recently lent her famous face for some new Fila ads. I must say, the girl who built her career on sluttery and skankeration looks pretty cute in the above picture. However, if you take a look at some of the other shots from this shoot, you can see that it doesn’t matter what she’s wearing, Paris lives every day like it’s a sex tape - even if she’s only expressing it through her Deep Throat inspired facial expressions. Sex sells, right?
Fila mainly produces running shoes, and I’ve never been too interested in shoes with less than three inches of heel. However, I’ve been perusing some of the Fila models, and they make some hella cute runners for women. I know; I’m skeptical of any product endorsed by Paris, but any shoe that can make her giant, reptilian feet look good has gotta be a miracle shoe.
This is the Fila “Montello”, which is part of the FilaTiva collection. This collection mixes the traditional athletic running shoe style with more fashionable and stylish designs. As you can see, the hybrid works. I fell in love with this shoe the minute I saw it. I absolutely adore the soft, lavender colour and sleek styling. These shoes would look good with just about anything, even with a dress-down skirt. What do you think? Don’t you think the Montello can sell itself without Paris’ VD tainted sex appeal?
