Elle Macpherson’s Ugg Classic Tall Christmas

Source: In Case You Didn’t Know
Supermodel Elle Macpherson was spotted in Ugg Classic Tall boots while surfing in Sydney, Australia on Christmas day. Apparently Elle forgot to wear pants, but if my nickname was “The Body” maybe I’d be ambivalent towards pants as well.
As I’ve stated before, I’m not a fan of Uggs, but I’m glad she’s at least wearing something below the belt. Elle is in her native Australia here, which is also the Ugg’s motherland. I think I’m starting to understand the way of the Ugg: The Aussies make ugly boots, but give us super-hot supermodels to wear them. Tricky.
I actually understand why Elle wore Uggs. They do in fact seem like the perfect comfy and quick choice to throw on in a situation like this. And she won’t get the ever annoying “sand in the sandals” problem. Nor will she get the “sand in the pants” problem, since she’s not wearing any. Maybe that was intelligent design on her part.
What is with this pantless trend anyway? Elle is six feet tall, she’s at the beach and has miles of legs to show off, so she almost gets away with this. However, this is not the case for the non-supermodel celebrity masses. Lindsay Lohan, Britney Spears: I’m looking in your direction. Sober up and put on some pants. If Brit had done that in the first place, she might not have two kids and a custody battle to deal with. However, I digress.
Try pairing your Ugg Classic Tall boots with some pencil jeans for a fashionable look. If you need to show off your gams like Elle, please, wear a mini skirt. It’s very stylish these days, and you won’t be breaking any indecency laws.
Uggs are trendy, pantlessness is trendy - it’s a mad, mad world. Please don’t put these trends together unless you’re off to the beach - It gives me a fashion headache. What do you think? Should we ladies be liberated from pants? Or should everyone be liberated from Uggs, first?
