Oh Deer! Eliza and BCBG Max Azria Marsha channel Louis Vuitton
You can’t open an entertainment magazine these days without seeing Louis Vuitton. His trademark monogram can be found adorning the bags, purses, boots and shoes of all your favourite celebrities:

This is the Lady Spade, a Louis Vuitton shoe that showcases his signature patterns. I myself, have never been a big fan of the Louis Vuitton look. The pattern gets a bit generic after a while, and I always find the more colourful ones too loud for a pair of shoes. Luckily, BCBG Max Azria and Oh Deer! make some Louis Vuitton inspired heels, that offer a fresh look on that old pattern:

The first is the BCBG Max Azria Marsha, a very feminine pump that seems to channel the more manly Louis Vuitton style in a traditional mahogany colour. The chunky look of this shoe is contrasted by the towering 4.25″ heel, peep toe and velvet bow, to give a beautiful and edgy look.
The second is the Oh Deer! Eliza, which looks a wee bit like someone poured some LSD on a Christian Louboutin peep-toe pump, and then proceeded to have a Louis Vuitton influenced trip. This one is a bit loud, but I like the fine geometric pattern, and the contrast of the pattern and the cork wrapped sole.
Remember that these are not real Louis Vuittons! Apparently, just over 1% of alleged Louis Vuitton products are actually authentic, so these cheaper, Vuitton-esque shoes will fit right in, without pretending to be something that they’re not.
What do you think of Louis Vuitton and his patterned products? Do the Eliza and the Marsha do a good job of capturing the Vuitton look?
