Bejeweled and in Vogue: Nina Gordie in Deep Plum
Jewels are hot this season.
I always like to keep up with fashion by perusing through magazines, so in a recent issue of Vogue, I was taken by surprised by a shoe that was affordable to the average person. I always took Vogue as a “concept” magazine with its plethora of 3-4 figure costs on featured couture items.
So, when I saw a the gorgeous Nina Gordie in deep plumb, I was certainly excited at the prospect of affording this shoe. I don’t just adore this shoe simply because it was in Vogue, I love all the elements of its design. The deep plumb is a royal color. I simply admire how purple and pink stones quaintly adorn the strappy shoe. Nina definitely did a fabulous job in designing Gordie. Based on design, it definitely has a place with the high end designer shoes, such as Prada and Yves St. Laurent.
I love the jeweled heel trend. There’s something almost enchanting about bejeweled shoes.
