Steven “Morela”: A shoe fit for a vamp
Every once in awhile we come across a shoe that could be considered a classic.
Steven’s “Morela” is just the case. Steve Madden’s luxury line Steven did a fabulous job recreating the essence of old school Hollywood. The playful peep-toe pump has the ability to transport its wearer back to the 1940’s-1950’s when glamor was defined by classy crisp clean lines- in contrast to the boho hipster starlets that presently grace the celebrity gossip tabloids.
“Morela” could easily be spotted in old Hollywood photos of Marilyn Monroe. I could imagine Monroe flaunting her sex appeal i red pumps (above). I could see Ava Gardner seductively slipping into the black version (below).
