I know all of three things about Katie Holmes:
1. She was one of the pretentious teenagers on Dawson’s Creek.
2. She is Tom Cruise’s wife/possible beard/baby mamma.
3. She has impeccable taste in shoes.
Now, there are many starlets out there with fancy footwear, but Holmes deserves recognition more than anyone else. Why, you ask? Well, as previously addressed, Katie is married to famously eccentric midget-Scientoglogist-actor Tom Cruise. Tommy’s ex-wife, Nicole Kidman, famously remarked that the best part of separating with the 5′7″ Cruise was that Nicole, 5′10″, could once again wear heels.
Now, the Cruise/Holmes union has been fought with many rumours, and accusations that dear little Katie had been somehow “brainwashed” by Cruise and his Scientology brethren arose sometime after their engagement.
However, if this is true, it appears that no amount of auditing could persuade Katie – a full two inches taller than Tom – to follow in Nicole’s flat footsteps and ditch her heels, for the sake of her teeny, tiny husband and his giant, gargantuan ego. Katie appears to love her heels, and we love her for it.

These beautiful gems are by Armani, and appear to have a pewter finish – a super chique way to be shimmery, without looking tacky. Katie got to wear these shoes through Armani’s haute couture line, so you and I won’t be snagging this A-List look easily. However, Charles by Charles David has brought us an “A-list” look, reminiscent of Katie’s shiny, superstar look:

Not sure how I feel about Katie being a potential style icon. She doesn’t wear the heels, the heels seem to wear her- if you know what I mean.
