Hi there. Or should I say “G’day mate!” I know we’ve had our problems in the past.
I’ve said some harsh things.
I’ve called you stumpy.
I’ve called you clunky.
I’ve called you unflattering, cankle making clodhoppers.
We all know the Ugg/Ugly jokes have been done to eath. I can’t help it. I’m a short person and you guys could make Gisele Bündchen look as tall as Jeremy Piven. And yet, people seem to like you. I see you on every university girl trudging to class like xl Rose in the cold November rain.
You do look quite warm and comfortable. And you know that Gisele would have the sense to pair you with a short skirt or skinny jeans to exaggerate her already miles long legs. So who am I to hate? In this time of worldly uncertainty, I think we should make amends.
Why? Because when the Earth’s gravity gives out, I’ll be quite relieved that I’ll be wearing big, chunky, Uggs to hold me to the Earth.
