Shoehunting.com has almost relaunched for 2 full months and we’ve seen some really positive results! We cannot emphasize enough how much we’re appreciative of the support of all our members and this is the motivation to build more features, and improve the platform! I don’t know why this girl enjoys cankle-inducing footwear so much, but here she is again, sashaying around in some kind of ultra-shiny super-cuffed pirate wench-dominatrix boot. I can’t say that I absolutely hate these boots, but I sure as hell bet her ankles do. What’s with kids today?! Or is it just these girls from High School Musical who like to fug up their ankles?

This past spring and summer, actress Gwyneth Paltrow gained a reputation for wearing killer high heels - many of which reached as high as seven inches, like these by Guiseppe Zanotti.

Heels have been getting higher and higher over the past year, with super high heels from Chanel that caused models to tumble down the runway, and the “Victoria” platform from Giambattista Valli - named for, of course, Victoria Beckham. Not surprising for a woman who teeters around on shoes like these.

As the Halloween season approaches, my inner horror movie fan is creeping out. Last night, I pleaded with my roomate to watch a horror movie with me. Unfortunately, the movie we chose to watch was Hostel II, which terrified the living jesus out of me and left me with a debilitating fear of backpacking across Europe and Quentin Tarantino. Oh, Iggy. How very non-rock star.

I don’t know why I get so dismayed when I see celebrities in Crocs. Maybe it’s just because I KNOW that they have enough money for shoes that aren’t made of plastic - er sorry, Croslite! A pair of casual shoes that aren’t, y’know…. UGLY. Maybe I’m just the product of society that demands perfection from it’s major figures - Crocs are far from perfection and seeing Iggy Pop gallivanting around in Crocs kills is my rockstar dreams!!!

I would be lying if I said I didn’t have a soft spot for Christina Aguilera. Xtina’s electro-pop influenced performance at the 2008 MTV VMAs was one of my personal highlights. The girl can sing, and even though I’m not a huge fan of her hooker make-up, she generally looks super-hot.

Diva Xtina was spotted at a Rock the Vote event in LA the other night, and I love her go-go inspired look. I adore the simple black and white dress - reminiscent of the famous “Stupid Girl” dress once worn by Shirley Manson. The leather tall boots really complete the look. Xtina, like a true diva, is wearing Christian Louboutin’s “Ginerva” tall boot:
