Happy Canada Day: Spotlight on John Fluevog
For those of you non-Canadians out there, today is Canada Day! In homage of Canada’s 141 years of independence, I’m going to shine the spotlight on a very unique shoe designer whom hails from Vancouver, British Columbia:

This is the “Hepburn” by Canadian shoe designer John Fluevog. Fluevog is known for his bold, retro inspired designs and cute, scalloped heels. His unique, art deco style has created fans out of many, including Madonna.
Fluevog’s shoes are heavily inspired by turn-of-the-century footwear, with a colourful, artistic flair. His eye-catching designs will get you noticed.
Many of Fluevog’s shoes have messages engraved in the soles, such as “Resists alkali, water, acid, fatigue and Satan.” How many shoes do you own that resist Satan?
