I Wanna be a Supermodel: Heidi Montag and Sam Edelman Dixie

The Hills star is milking her 15 minutes of fame for all its worth. There’s something pretentious about Heidi Montag. It’s as if she’s trying a little too hard.
MTV’s most famous fashion school drop-out has started her own fashion line. “Heidiwood” has recently premiered with Montag as both designer and model. Anchor Blue will carry “Heidiwood” with reasonable prices ranging between $10-60.Montag has also attempted to jump start her singing career by debuting her makeshift music video, Higher. Montag channeled her inner Paris Hilton by frolicking on the beach while sporting a bikini that left nothing to the imagination. Cameraman Spencer Pratt was responsible for the notorious film which lead to viral success, but was regarded by most as a critical failure.
Much like Higher, Montag’s fashion line has already been done many times over. This outfit could easily be transferred from Montag to a street walking Tranny. The clothing is just as generic as its model which works to highlight Montag’s favorite asset: her boob job.
The black peep toe platforms resemble Sam Edelman’s Dixie. These Dixies bring to mind another era of class and sex appeal, a combination that Montag should use as inspiration. Sam Edelman’s platforms are versatile enough to last through various seasons, perhaps much longer than Montag will.
Do you think Montag is on her way to becoming a full force mogul (television, music and fashion)? Or are her 15 minutes of fame running out?
