What is it with supermodels and Uggs?

Supermodel Claudia Schiffer can pull off the Ugg look quite well, or at least much better than Lily Allen, due to her statuesque height and figure. I still think they look like moon shoes from the outback, and I shudder at the thought of a supermodel - someone who’s very job it is to promote the clothes on their backs - would be caught wearing Uggs. It’s really becoming some kind of Ugg pandemic. We must stop them, before they join forces with crocs to enslave the human race with fug!

I guess I can forgive Claudia, seeing as she’s obviously running around, being a mom, and thus probably isn’t so concerned about her heinous, Ugg related fashion crimes. Yes, that must be it. It’s the only way to explain those pants, unless she’s getting ready to go speed skating.

Claudia, like Lily Allen, prefers the Ugg Classic Short in black:

For those of you who are shorter than 5′11″, I don’t suggest attempting Uggs. If you’re going to wrecklessly ignore my advice, then please, wear them with some pencil jeans. Even speed skating pants - just don’t expect many compliments.

Now, if anyone needs me, I’m going to be in my bomb shelter until the human race does what it does best, and wipes those hideous Uggs off the face of the planet. Go anthropocentrism!
