Here’s the “good looking” Simpson sister at a signing for her new CD at Wal-Mart. Yes, Wal-Mart. What, were all the Best Buys closed?

Ashlee attended this signing without her boyfriend/creepy hair twin, Pete Wentz. Maybe there was only enough straightening balm for one of them, that evening. I get irritated when I see pictures of them together, because I just want to cut their freeking emo bangs. Get a hair cut, ya hippies!

I’m going to be completely honest here and admit that I wasn’t even aware that Ashlee had a new CD. She’s just the Simpson Sisters answer to Avril Lavigne, and I can’t say I care for either one’s bubblegum punk. The only time I had any interest in any of Ashlee’s songs was when she released “Boyfriend”, and that was because the lyrics implied that although she apparently didn’t steal her boyfriend, she did screw around with him, because she can. I mean, I hated the song, but I enjoyed the subtle Lindsay Lohan burn.

Ashlee is doing her best to look rock star poseur chic. Nowadays, I think that just means ironed hair and leggings, but Ash went one extra step to express her bad ass: She paired her outfit with a pair of motorcycle boots. Hell’s Angel she is not, however, motorcycle boots are one of the latest trends. For a similar look, check out the Harley-Davidson “El Paso”:
