Here’s Lindsay, looking fabulous. I believe this is what’s known as Lindsay’s “blue steel” face.

This photo was taken at a Dolce & Gabbana show, where Lindsay modeled her best Dolce & Gabbana duds. Her shoes are a black, platform mary jane with peep toes - and this their third appearance on Shoehunting.com.

Her shoes, are indeed D & G, thus they don’t come cheap. They’re one of the hottest shoes this season, as we’ve seen them on the feet of Lily Allen, an animal print version on Christina Aguilera, and now on La Lohan.

I like these D & G shoes quite a bit. They’re very simple and classic, and everyone I see in them looks very tall, sleek and elegant. Unfortunately, I do not have a grand to drop on D&G shoes, so I’ve been searching for some cheaper substitutions. I’ve mentioned the Jessica Simpson “Miami” as a nice one, and if you’re looking for something similar with a more sturdy heel, check out the MIA “London”:

The MIA “London” features a cute 3.5″ chunky heel, and very retro inspired scalloped trim. The MIA “London” is an adorable shoe, whereas, if you’re looking for something with more Lindsay-esqu sex appeal, the “Jessica Simpson “Miami” may be right for you.

One of the more unique features of the D & G shoe is the trendy, split peep-toe. I’ve been finding it difficult to find a suitable replacement that has this nifty feature. However, I predict that as we move on into Spring 2008, we’ll see more of this trend emerging, so I will keep you posted!
