Animal prints have been mega hot this season. The problem with animal prints is that they’re often loud and difficult to wear. Misuse of these exotic patterns is an easy way to go from classy to trashy in seconds. Overused animal prints always reminds me of that sixty year old woman who attempts to pick up 18 year old guys inbetween cigarettes and swigs of domestic beer. This is the Modern Vintage “Pheobe”, a shoe that uses animal prints in a modest way for a distinct and classy look. Instead of a traditional animal print upper, the chunky, vintage style heel is wrapped in a trendy croc print. This shoe has a very reserved, round toe shape. These two looks contrast eachother, to create some kind of shoe mullet: Business in the front, party in the back.
The Modern Vintage “Pheobe” has smooth leather uppers. The pictured model has a very chic, brown metallic colour, but there’s also a sexy black model, as well. This shoe will go with everything from a cute dress to a pair of pencil jeans, and are appropriate for the office or a ladies’ night out.
