Oh Deer! “Trapeze” flies high without a net

The Oh Deer! “Trapeze” is one of the hottest sandals strutting in our direction for Spring. It’s easy to see why - these shoes caught my eye right away. The “Trapeze” mixes vibrant colours and retro-styling to create an attention grabbing shoe that’s a must have for putting some Spring in your step. I always find Oh Deer! shoes to be remarkably fashionable and cute, and the “Trapeze” is no exception.
The above picture is the purple suede “Trapeze”, which truly channels it’s namesake with it’s circus-tent inspired colours. These colours remind me of warm weather and boardwalks, and in my mind, Spring is already here. If you find them a bit loud, they also come in a smooth, chocolate suede or a shimmery, metallic leather upper. The four inch heel will make you rise above the crowd, like some kind of trapeze artist cum fashionista.
I love the retro-styling of the “Trapeze”, including the cute, war-era style peep-toe. The retro-styling is contrasted by the funky colours and unique patterning, creating a truly unique shoe. They’re kind of like shoes for June Cleaver on LSD - how many shoes can you say that about?
