Rachel Bilson makes these teal flats work, according to a photo from Instyle.

I like Rachel Bilson. I don’t really know why. I have never really watched the show, The O.C., but I’ve seen Bilson in tons of fashion photos and whatever Bilson wears seems to work on her. Then again, Bilson isn’t someone like Tara Reid who makes constant fashion faux pas. Bilson’s got great style and she takes risks, but they’re little risks here and there. For example, I never even imagined teal flats before I saw this picture. I never really had any reason to. And if someone would have confronted me with the prospect of teal flats, I probably would have just wrinkled my nose in disgust.

These teal flats are cute and the look a bit like French Sole’s Sloop in Teal Suede. I don’t think Rachel Bilson’s is the suede material because it looks more like a patent leather and has a thicker brown sole. French Sole, on the other hand, offers a teal suede with a black, thin sole.

I think I’d rather wear French Sole’s Sloop because suede seems more versatile than patent leather teal.

Girls, would you wear teal flats? And if so, would you wear French Sole’s Sloop in Teal Suede over Rachel Bilson’s patent teal flats?
