I’m not the biggest fan of flats, however, even I need a break from being heeled and fabulous every now and then. I usually find ballet flats rather uninteresting, or the opposite, offensively loud and buckled. I recently stumbled upon some simple ballet flats, with mucho presence:

The hot colour just pops. The bold patent red on these are striking, and pop like Marilyn Monroe’s cherry red lips on her fair skin (as oppose to popping like the Rocky Horror Picture Show Lips). These are by footwear maven Christian Louboutin, so they don’t come cheap, but here are some equally eye-grabbing grabs, for far less chash:

The first is the Report Divine, a sexy, sling-back d’orsay flat that will add attitude to any outfit one adorns. For a more conservative look that still oozes presence, there’s the Soho lab Fauna, a patent leather pleaser for a hot look that pops. Both these shoes are a great grab for style and comfort, to add “pop!” to any outfit.
