Gwen wins for her L.A.M.B. Lakeview heels, loses for the fugly boots

I’m just not sure how I feel about Gwen Stefani and L.A.M.B.’s approach to boots:

This is the L.A.M.B. Chartres, a boot that, on several occasions, has been spotted on Gwen herself. I’m not sure how I feel about it’s clunky look and the excessive straps. The Chartres, like the Love boot, overuses buckles and straps and bells and whistles to make a shoe fit for superstar and L.A.M.B. founder Gwen Stefani, but nobody else.

I’ve also come to believe that Gwen might have some evil plan of creating cankles on all her consumers:

Like the Pucci snow boot, I’m convinced that this boot may be somehow inspired by Mega Man, or possibly pony hooves. This is the L.A.M.B. Zeyn Tex, and I stared at this boot - speechless, mouth agape - for about three minutes when I first saw it. It looks as if Gwen decided to design Ugg boots for wookies.

Although L.A.M.B.’s boots send shivers up my cankle-fearing spine, I do have to say, Gwen does know how to make a funky, cute pump:

I like L.A.M.B.’s heels (…mostly) and this cute zig-zag patterned pump is a hot grab. This is the L.A.M.B. Lakeview, a foxy pump that mirrors Gwen’s heavily new wave inspired music. This shoe has a leather upper and the zig-zag pattern features a snazzy, snake skin print. For a girlier look, there’s also the Lakeview Tex, a cute pink version of this sexy pump.

What you think about the Lakeview and L.A.M.B.’s big boots? Yay or nay?

The shoes above are just a little to loud for me, especially the lamb boots and the Pucci boots.
