Reese Witherspoon is actually one of those credible celebrities that has an Oscar. Therefore, if UGGs are on Reese Witherspoon, then that means that they’re just as credible as the actress, right?
Though this train of logic sounds a little dumb, a celebrity wearing a brand has just about the effect.
To the surprise of many fashionistas, the UGG classic reigns as one of the most popular shoes online. When fashion reporters stated seasons ago that the UGG was dead, I expected that the round clunky shoe would fade into fashion oblivion.
However, due to the fact that UGGs are easy to wear, they haven’t left the feet of UGG lovers. The truth is, you can practically wear them with anything. Shorts, pants, and even mini skirts have been worn with UGGs to some fashion critics’ dismay. Perhaps, it’s their sheepskin inner lining that makes girls not want to take them off. Or the fact that their large clunkiness can make any girl look petite.
The UGG Classic comes in sand, lilac, black, chestnut, baby blue, ruby, chocolate, raisin/dusk/ and rum raisin. The most popular colors are sand, chestnut, and black which are all neutral colors.
If an A-lister is wearing it, does that make it okay for the rest of us to accept UGGs? Also, how long do you think UGGs are here to stay?
