Deal Alert: Betsey Johnson Jonila
Betsey Johnson has been known for her feminine and whimsical designs. The Jonila flats are the epitome of Betsey Johnson’s creative essence: they are both quaint and quirky.
I feel that out of all the Jonila designs, the one that does Betsey Johnson full justice is the leopard print Jonila. These flats have the ferocity of the leopard print design juxtaposed with vibrant embroidered roses- both signature patterns of the Betsey Johnson brand. The underlying toughness of the leopard print is completely canceled out by both the embroidered roses and its adorable shape. Jonila is considered an open shank skinner or basically, a flat with a opening on the side of the inner foot. This is very reminiscent of the kind of flats that come from the far East.
These enchanting flats stand out from a sea of conventional shoes. Betsey Johnson is never afraid of breaking the mold. With hot pink roses embroidered over leopard print, these unique flats somehow work.
