Spotted: S wearing cute boots that will not break the bank.

If you are a fan of the Gossip Girl novels or television show, you would understand. However, even if you are not, you have to take a look at these super cute boots. These boots were worn by Serena Van Der Woodsen, played by Blake Lively, in episode three. Anyone can get these “Strate” boots at Chinese Laundry for $99. Sadly, all of the grey ash, the color shown on Serena, are sold out. They have black and brown though, and those colors are just as hot.

These boots are just perfect for a cute private school uniform. Although, I highly doubt the private school’s skirts are that short. Mine were hideous and went past my knees! These boots would go great with a casual skirt. I am thinking pleated plaid, like Blake Lively is wearing, or even a solid color like grey or black. These boots would also look fabulous over skinny jeans. They are thin enough to hide under jeans too, if you have the desire to hide the gorgeous suede.

For those who insist on looking just like Serena, and only want the boots in grey ash, I have some good news. Chinese Laundry announced that they are releasing the sister boot to this “Strate” boot called “Top” in grey ash. They will be released on November 25, 2007. Hopefully they will look just as hot as the “Strate” boot.
